Kathleen Taggersell has a rich and diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kathleen started their career as a Managing Editor at Gartner Group/SoundView Financial Group, where they led editorial production for a high-tech investment banking firm. Following this, they worked as a Consultant at Strategic Marketing Communications before joining Tom's of Maine as the Public Relations and Communications Team Leader. At Tom's of Maine, they played a key role in promoting the company's corporate identity and implementing strategic marketing programs.
Kathleen then established their own successful firm, KT Communications, where they developed and implemented strategic marketing communications and public relations programs for regional and national clients. Kathleen later joined the University of New England as the Director of Marketing and Communications, where they executed a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy and supported the university's strategic goals.
Currently, Kathleen is working at MaineHealth, first as the System Director of Marketing and Communications, where they developed and executed systemwide communication priorities. Kathleen then served as the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Internal Branding, responsible for developing the strategic corporate communications and internal branding strategy. Kathleen is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Corporate Communications, continuing their work in enhancing MaineHealth's reputation within its key communities.
Throughout their career, Kathleen has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, brand development, marketing communications, and public relations. Their experience spans from managing corporate communications for a large integrated health system to leading marketing efforts for a socially responsible company.
