Rick Olsen

Rick has more than 20 years of experience leading finance and operations in major healthcare and billing organizations. He joined SMHC as SVP & CFO in 2016, prior to which he served as Senior Director of Finance & Operations Management, Corporate Financial Planning and Associate Executive Director of Finance for the Northwell Health System in New York. Rick earned his bachelor’s degree in Management and International Business at New York University and received his MBA in Strategic Healthcare Management at Hofstra University. He serves on the Board of Directors for NorDx, on the MaineHealth Retirement Plan Committee, and the Maine Hospital Association Healthcare Finance Council. Rick is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and American College of Healthcare Executives.
