Shannon Banks

Shannon Banks is a seasoned executive in health care leadership with extensive experience in operations, strategy, and organization development. Since June 2020, Shannon has served as the Chief Operating Officer for the MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization, focusing on advancing value-based care through innovative contract management, network development, and care management. As the Owner and Principal Consultant of BanksBellwether Strategy & Organization Development since 2014, Shannon has assisted health care leaders in clarifying vision and improving outcomes. Additional roles include Adjunct Practitioner Faculty at Bates College and Lecturer at the University of Southern Maine, where Shannon contributed to health care administration education. Previous leadership positions at Martin's Point Health Care and Central Maine Medical Center highlight achievements in operational efficiency, quality improvement, and strategic planning. Shannon holds a Master's of Science in Organization & Management from Antioch University New England and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bates College.
