Scott Tibbitts has extensive experience in housing and homelessness support services, currently serving as the Continuum of Care Planning & Grants Coordinator at MaineHousing since July 2004. In this role, Tibbitts coordinates statewide Continuum Planning and oversees the annual Continuum of Care Program Application for funding. Previous positions at MaineHousing include developing compliance tools for the Emergency Solutions Grant, aligning policies and procedures with federal guidelines, and supporting the Maine Balance of State Continuum of Care. Prior to MaineHousing, Tibbitts was the Program Director at the Lighthouse Shelter with the Salvation Army, managing an emergency shelter for homeless youth. Tibbitts holds a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Southern Maine and has completed classes in the Certificate Program in Community Planning & Development at the Muskie School & Cutler Institute.
