Mike Hanson

Mike Hanson has an extensive work experience in the field of information systems. Mike started their career in 1997 as a Technical Specialist at Meijer, where they worked on various projects involving IBM Power Systems, Oracle, and Sybase. Mike provided support for UNIX systems and contributed to the UNIX Architecture group, DBA group, and Application Development. After their tenure at Meijer, Mike joined G/S Solutions, Inc in 2008 as a Systems Consultant, specializing in pre-sale and delivery services. In this role, they collaborated with IBM, NetApp, VMWare, and Vision Solutions to provide sales, consulting, and technical services in the Midwest. Recently, Mike joined Mainline Information Systems in 2020 as a Systems Engineer.

Mike Hanson attended Grand Rapids Community College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an Associates degree in General Studies. Mike then attended Ferris State University from 1998 to 2000, studying Computer Information Systems. In addition to their formal education, Mike Hanson has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the "RTA - Rubrik Technical Associate" certification from Rubrik, Inc. in December 2020, and the "Mist Location Certification" and "Mist WiFi Certification" from Mist Systems in April 2020. Mike has also received multiple certifications from IBM, such as the "IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - Power Systems with AIX v3" and "IBM Certified System Expert - PureFlex Technical V1" in May 2014. Other IBM certifications include "IBM Certified Specialist - Midrange Storage Technical Support V3", "IBM Certified Specialist - Storwize V7000 Technical Solutions V2", "IBM Certified Sales Specialist - Power Systems with POWER7 and AIX & Linux - V2", "IBM Certified Specialist - PureFlex System Sales V2", "IBM Certified Specialist - PureFlex Technical Support V2", and "IBM Certified Technical Sales Specialist - Power Systems with POWER7 and AIX & Linux V2". Mike Hanson has also received additional certifications from IBM related to Hybrid Multicloud on Power, IBM Power Systems POWER9 V2, IBM Systems Business Partner Artificial Intelligence on IBM POWER9, IBM Systems Business Partner Hybrid Multicloud on IBM POWER9, and IBM Systems Business Partner SAP HANA on IBM POWER9, although the specific dates of certification are not provided.
