Steve Wilcockson

Steve Wilcockson is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Finance Director at Mainprize Offshore since April 2021. Under Steve's leadership, Mainprize Offshore has engaged in significant transactions, including a private equity investment with Alcuin Capital Partners and the carve-out and sale of a Taiwanese business unit. Previously, Steve held the position of Global Head of Finance at GEV Wind Power, navigating financial challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Steve's extensive experience encompasses roles such as Financial Controller and Regional FD at Boasso Global and various accounting positions at Thornton & Ross, BDO UK LLP, and Garbutt + Elliott. Educational credentials include the ACA from ICAEW and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management from the University of Leeds. Steve is currently pursuing the FCA designation.
