Sara Justice Deberry

Sara Justice DeBerry has a strong background in sales and leadership within the hospitality industry. Sara currently serves as the Director of Sales at Mainsail Lodging & Development, starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Marriott Hotels from April 2018 to October 2020, where they led a team of Luxury Sales Managers and achieved 138% team goal achievement. From September 2013 to March 2018, they were the Director of Group Sales at W Atlanta - Midtown, overseeing a $20M hotel transformation. Sara also held positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as an Associate Director of Sales from January 2010 to August 2013, and at W Hotel Atlanta Downtown as a Senior Sales Manager from September 2008 to January 2010. Sara began their career at Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center as a National Sales Manager from September 2007 to September 2008. Sara also served as the Assistant Director of Sales at Westin Atlanta Airport from July 2001 to September 2007, and as the Corporate Sales Manager at Embassy Suites Atlanta Galleria from November 1999 to July 2001.

Sara Justice DeBerry obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Recreation from Iowa State University. Sara attended the university from 1989 to 1993.
