David Farsai

David joined Mainsail in 2012. He is responsible for originating, executing, and supporting new investments.

David works closely with a number of portfolio companies. He currently serves on the board of Boostlingo, Syncro and SourceScrub. He was involved with a number of former portfolio companies including Bio-Optronics (acquired by Advarra), FairWarning (acquired by Imprivata), Zen Planner (acquired by Daxko), nCourt (acquired by Providence Equity), and Novus Biologicals (acquired by Bio-Techne).

Prior to joining Mainsail, David was an Investment Banker at Wells Fargo Securities in San Francisco. While at Wells Fargo Securities, David advised on and executed a number of M&A transactions for leading public and private companies in the software and storage industries. Prior to Wells Fargo Securities, David was an Investment Banker at Houlihan Lokey where he focused on middle market M&A transactions in the healthcare services sector.

David graduated from the University of Southern California, where he earned his bachelor’s degree from the Marshall School of Business.
