Gary Larsen

Gary Larsen, Chief Financial Officer, joined Mainspring in 2022 to lead the company’s financial organization. He has been CFO at a number of private and public companies, focused on hardware and manufacturing, and has extensive experience in fundraising. Most recently, he was at Lyten, an advanced materials and battery startup in the Bay Area. Previously, he helped scale Power-One, a global solar inverter manufacturer, to over $1B in revenue, eventually selling to ABB. He took AuthenTec public shortly after joining, with its biometric product eventually becoming the iPhone TouchID. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from New York University.
