Matt McCrory

SVP, Chief Information Security Officer at MainStreet Bank

Matt McCrory has a diverse background in the field of information security and technology. Matt began their career in 2005 as a Technical Support Specialist and Assistant Manager at Radford University. In 2006, they worked as a Support Specialist and DB Analyst at Blackbaud. Later that year, they took on the role of Web Site Design and Development at CleanUpOil.com.

In 2008, McCrory joined MainStreet Bank, initially working as an IT Assistant before progressing to roles such as Network Administrator and AVP, Systems Engineer. Matt then advanced to positions of increasing responsibility within the information security domain, serving as VP and SVP, Information Security Officer. Currently, they hold the role of SVP and Chief Information Security Officer at MainStreet Bank.

Matt McCrory attended Radford University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Info Science and Business Systems Development. Matt has since obtained multiple certifications, including Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA in October 2020, CISSP from (ISC)² in December 2017, Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer from ISACA in July 2020, CCNA - Routing & Switching from Cisco in April 2016, CCENT from Cisco in September 2015, and Security+ from CompTIA in May 2015.
