Vani Thupili is a Clinical Research Assistant at The Orthopaedic Institute since February 2024, involved in setting up patient rooms and assisting in spinal and joint injections using fluoroscopy. Previously, Vani worked as a Telescribe Ambassador & Trainer and Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica from June 2023 to February 2024. At the University of Florida, Vani served as a Research Assistant from January to August 2023, focusing on characterizing mutations in Burkholderia pseudomallei related to antibiotic resistance. Vani has additional experience as a Sports Official at UF RecSports and as a Student Researcher at Oviedo High School. Vani also contributed as a Sports and Features Editor and News Reporter for the Lions Tale Newspaper during high school. Vani holds a degree in Microbiology & Cell Sciences with a minor in International Assistance and Humanitarian Assistance from the University of Florida, completed in December 2023.
