Dan Sanford

Dan Sanford has extensive experience in financial management and operations, currently serving in financial advisory roles at MainStreet and an undisclosed start-up since March 2021. As VP of Finance and Operations at Aura since May 2013, Dan has honed leadership skills in finance. Previously, positions included Senior Vice President and Controller at Prosper Marketplace, Executive Vice President of Finance at Home Value Protection, Inc., and Senior Vice President of Controller at Washington Mutual Card Services. Dan's career began in the early 1990s with positions at Providian Financial and Western Administration, culminating in a role as Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley.
