Grethe Selboe

Head of Inspection & Materials Technology at Maintech AS

Grethe Selboe started their professional career in 1996 as an Engineer/Senior Engineer at Aker Verdal AS. Grethe then worked as a Senior Engineer at CorrOcean ASA from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Senior Engineer at FORCE Technology. In 2005, they joined MainTech AS as the Head of Inspection & Materials Technology, a position they still hold. In 2008, they also took on the role of Project Manager for the contract of Inspection and Corrosion Monitoring Services for Draugen and Ormen Lange at A/S Norske Shell. Since 2017, they have been involved in various board positions, including Chairman of the Board at NPF Trøndelag since 2020, Member of the Board at NPF Trøndelag from 2017 to 2020, Member of the Board at Arctic Cluster Team since 2019, and Member of the Board at NiT Oil & Gas since 2018.

Grethe Selboe obtained a Bachelor's degree in Material Technology from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) in the years 1987 to 1990. Subsequently, they pursued their Master's degree in Electrochemistry at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1990 to 1992.
