Mark L. Henneman

Chairman & CEO at Mairs and Power

Mark joined the firm in 2004, becoming the Chairman and CEO in 2018 after four years as President and Chief Investment Officer. He is dedicated to the firm’s mission to provide peace of mind and financial security for our clients and shareholders.

In his role at Mairs & Power, Mark is a long-standing member of the investment committee and had been either the co-manager or manager of the Growth Fund from 2006 through 2020.

Early in his career, Mark was an equity analyst with The St. Paul Companies and later the Managing Director and Process Leader of Mid- and Large-Cap Value Investments for U.S. Bancorp Asset Management.

Following in the footsteps of the founders of Mairs & Power, Mark is an active member of our local community. He is currently a board member of the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul and a board member and Chair of the Investment Comittee of the St. Paul and Minnesota Foundation. In past years, he served as a board member and president of the Union Gospel Mission-Twin Cities.

Mark is a long-time resident of Minnesota. He earned an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.

Mark is both a CFA charterholder.
