Michael C. Marzolf

Mike joined Mairs & Power as Vice President and Investment Manager in December of 2021 and was added to the Small Cap Fund as co-manager in January of 2022. In his roles, Mike is responsible for the co-management of the Small Cap Fund, conducting equity research, buying and selling securities on a day-to-day basis, portfolio monitoring, performance measurement and regulatory and client reporting. He also provides financial advice and services to private and corporate clients involving a range of investment matters. Mike’s addition further strengthens Mairs & Power’s small-cap team’s bench.

He has 35 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Mairs & Power, Mike was vice president of research and investment management with Sit Investment Associates where he provided fundamental research on companies in the technology and financial services sectors. Mike also was a portfolio manager at Ameriprise/Columbia Asset Management where he had the opportunity to work on a variety of products, including small, mid, and large cap stocks in the technology, consumer, financial services, and industrials sectors.

Mike earned his BS in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas. He has passed the CFA Level 2 exam and is studying to take Level 3.
