Matthew Fowkes

Matthew Fowkes is an experienced professional in the wine industry, currently serving as Head of Buying at Majestic Wine since September 2022, after holding the position of Buying Manager. Previously, Matthew worked at SPAR UK from March 2016 to September 2022 as Trading Manager for Wine & Fortified and as Assistant Trading Manager for Wine. Prior roles include Business and Corporate Sales at Nickolls & Perks and various positions at Majestic Wine, including Retail Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Graduate Management Trainee. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Swansea University and has earned a Level 4 Diploma in Wines & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, along with a Level 3 Advanced Wines & Spirits qualification.
