Maria Dunning has held a variety of positions in the technology industry. Maria began their career in 2017 as a Peer Advisor at The University of Texas at Dallas. In 2018, they joined Major League Hacking as a Sponsor Reporting and Coach. In 2019, they worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon. In 2020, they joined GEICO | Technology Solutions as a Cybersecurity Agile Delivery Lead (ADL) - Scrum Master (SM) and Emerging Leaders Program Tech Sup. Maria is currently employed by Major League Hacking as a Hackathon Community Manager and Coach.
Maria Dunning graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In March 2022, they obtained the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
