Amelia Luciano

Amelia Luciano is a Senior Scientist at FogPharma since January 2022, previously serving as a Scientist II. Luciano has extensive experience as a Match Official for Major League Rugby since March 2018. Prior to this, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in David Guertin's Lab at the University of Massachusetts Medical School focused on the mTORC2 signaling pathway in relation to cancer cell survival and adipogenesis. Additional experience includes roles such as Women's Rugby Assistant Coach at American International College and a PhD Candidate in William Sessa's Lab at Yale University, where research centered on the role of Akt1 in circadian rhythms. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Master's degree in Pharmacology from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University.
