Derek Summers is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in patient coordination, sales management, and officiating high-level sports competitions. Currently serving as a Patient Coordinator at Natera since March 2022, Derek has also been active as a referee for Major League Rugby and USA Rugby since 2018 and 2008, respectively. Prior to these roles, Derek held the position of National Sales Director at Summers Estate Wines from 2015 to 2017, managing wine sales and distribution across the country. Additionally, Derek worked as an Accounting Assistant at Jackson National Asset Management, LLC, from 2012 to 2014, where responsibilities included managing expense reports for sales representatives. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Oklahoma State University, earned between 2008 and 2011.

Major League Rugby is a professional sports league representing the highest rugby competition in North America. The League evolved from seven teams in 2018 to 12 teams in 2023, featuring 11 from the United States and one from Canada.
