Jen Cramer is the Senior Vice President of Partnership Marketing and Media Solutions for Major League Soccer (MLS) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM), the preeminent commercial soccer enterprise. A strategic business executive, Cramer has a 20-year track record of leadership and innovation stretching across all areas of sponsorship and integrated media.
Responsible for spearheading the overall strategy and direction for SUM corporate partners, Cramer oversees a team of 30 and directs partner sponsorship efforts with 40+ Fortune 500 brands for the premiere soccer properties in the U.S. and Canada including Major League Soccer, U.S. Soccer, Mexican National Team and CONCACAF.
During her four-year tenure, Cramer and her team are responsible for welcoming Target, Tag Heuer, Kellogg’s and more to MLS’ roster of partners. Cramer also spearheaded several multi-year renewals including Adidas, Audi, Heineken, Allstate and AT&T, among others.
Prior to her work at SUM, Turner served as the Vice President of Sales Development, Brand Strategy and Client Activation for Turner Sports’ robust portfolio of industry-leading brands including BleacherReport.com, NBA.com, NCAA.com, PGA.com, NASCAR.com, March Madness Live, NBA on TNT, MLB on TBS, Golf on TNT and NCAA on TNT, TruTV and TBS.
Cramer was key in the launch of Turner’s digital endeavors. She was hired as the first digital marketing employee for Turner Sports and over the span of 10 years, created the business strategies that effectively set the stage for expansion of Turner’s digital sports assets, leading to a multi-million dollar digital footprint.
A leader in developing and executing best-in-class marketing and media programs in partnership with top-tier advertisers, Cramer’s work generated triple digit revenue growth and paved the way for future deals within the organization.
Prior to Turner, Cramer honed a diverse set of integrated marketing skills at Viacom. Within a high-energy Nickelodeon environment, she developed a truly multi-platform approach to the sales process, working skillfully with clients and internal collaborators to grow revenue by concepting unique creative solutions that delivered staggering results.
Cramer launched her career within the sports world as a member of the first digital partner marketing team at the NHL. In her role as Manager of Marketing Partnerships, she worked with NHL corporate marketing partners in developing media solutions that enhanced and amplified their current sponsorship programs. During her tenure at the NHL, Cramer closed the very first multi-year and multi-million dollar digital partnership with Sprint (then Nextel) and paved the way for other partners to follow suit.
Cramer is a graduate of Binghamton University. She resides in Ardsley, N.Y. with her husband and two children.
