Desha Dardenne

Desha Dardenne is a Managing Director in the Law Firm Practice Group, where she assists associate and partner candidates in all aspects of the lateral recruiting process. Since joining Major, Lindsey & Africa in 1999, Desha has developed longstanding and invaluable relationships with associates, partners, recruiting managers, hiring partners and practice group leaders. Her vast network and depth and breadth of market knowledge enable Desha to provide accurate, relevant and current information to her candidates and clients. Having personally experienced the lateral recruiting process—Desha used the counsel of a legal search firm when joining Troutman Sanders as a mid-level associate—she is particularly sensitive to the multiple and often unforeseen issues that can arise in the search process and has become especially proficient in advising both her clients and candidates in these areas.

Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Desha practiced labor and employment law with Troutman Sanders in Atlanta and with Chaffe McCall in New Orleans.
