Throughout her career, Kirsten Keegan Vasquez has focused on providing knowledge, guidance and support to people contemplating professional and personal transition. She has deep experience in assisting law firms with the opening of new offices, helping law firms explore all available options for solving workforce and bandwidth challenges, and guiding elite partners and associates through the myriad options available to them as they built their business and their professional legacies. As a Partner and our Vice President – Law Firm Recruiting and Interim Legal Solutions, Kirsten uses her extensive experience to coach, manage and guide our candidates and client service professionals to deliver the highest quality representation in the legal search industry.
Originally from Rhode Island, Kirsten and her husband, Francisco, an in-house general counsel in the St. Louis area, currently eat barbecue, enjoy live music, seek adventure and spoil their dog in University City, MO.
Before coming to Major, Lindsey & Africa, Kirsten practiced law as a litigator and frequently served as court-appointed guardian ad litem for children in Family and Juvenile Criminal Courts. While in private practice, Kirsten co-authored, “The System Book for Family Law,” published by the State Bar of Wisconsin; helped organize the first international meeting of collaborative divorce professionals; and authored several published articles exploring states of career development for attorneys.
Prior to attending law school, Kirsten was a professional in the fields of higher and secondary education administration/management. While earning her M.S. at the University of Rhode Island, she performed research in the areas of leadership and management development including the creation and instruction of several undergraduate level courses.
