Matthew Weaver

As Executive Director of our Interim Legal Talent — North America, Matthew Weaver oversees practice group strategy, business development initiatives, client relations, and recruiter leadership and mentorship. Interim Legal Talent provides interim solutions to corporate legal departments and law firms by aligning top consulting attorneys and legal professionals with our clients to solve strategic legal and staffing needs. These needs involve interim general counsel support, corporate, securities, M&A and commercial matters to compliance & regulatory initiatives, IP portfolio management, and litigation strategy and support.

Matthew, and his wife Victoria, reside in Long Island City, NY. Matthew enjoys traveling all over the globe to experience the world’s best beaches, wineries, restaurants, golf courses, music and metropolitan cities. Matthew never misses the opportunity to watch a ballgame and enjoys mixing travel with visiting a variety of sporting venues.

Prior to helping start Interim Legal Talent in 2010, Matthew spent six years working for Aerotek as a divisional leader and account executive in the architectural, engineering and construction industry in New York City. Over the course of his 12-year career, he has successfully led numerous teams of recruiting professionals. This experience with two industry leaders—Major, Lindsey & Africa and Aerotek—provides Matthew with a unique background in solving business issues as they relate to human capital management, workload efficiencies and cost containment.
