Robert Mannino

A Managing Director on their Boston In-House Counsel Recruiting team, Bob Mannino works with clients across several industries with a focus on the emerging technologies, life sciences, financial services and sports tech sectors. He has helped many early stage pharmaceutical companies, tech start-ups and private equity portfolio companies hire their first legal counsel and specializes in intellectual property counsel and general counsel opportunities. He also leads the firm's Sports and Entertainment Practice in New England.

Bob was born and raised in Philadelphia. He is an avid rower and active member of the Boston rowing community. Bob served as the volunteer Race Director of the Head of the Charles Regatta for three years and continues to volunteer for the Regatta. He has also coached rowing at both the high school and collegiate levels.

Bob joined Major, Lindsey & Africa after serving as in-house counsel for The Faneuil Companies, overseeing both transactions and litigation involving real estate assets owned by the organization. He spent 23 years in private practice with a variety of boutique law firms in Boston and Philadelphia. In private practice, he represented corporations in both state and federal litigation including in real estate matters, complex insurance claims and employment matters. Bob has also acted as a national counsel coordinating a network of local counsel across the country defending tort claims.
