Rod Osborne

As Managing Director for their Law Firm Management Practice, Rod Osborne is responsible for leading executive-level retained searches for senior, non-legal law firm management, including in marketing, business development, finance, technology, diversity, human resources, knowledge management, professional development and firm administration. Prior to joining the Law Firm Management Practice, Rod focused on placing general counsel and senior staff attorneys with corporate clients as a member of our In-House Counsel Practice.

Rod has been in the legal recruitment field for more than 25 years. After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, he practiced corporate law with large firms in Denver and Boston before leaving private practice to start his own successful legal search firm, which focused on law firm placement of associates and partners. He moved on to open the Boston office of what was then the world's largest legal staffing company and found his way to Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2005. Rod shifted his focus to Law Firm Management in 2013 and greatly enjoys the variety and challenges associated with working in this growing area.
