Ronald Nye

Ronald J. Nye is a Partner in the Partner Practice Group and serves as the Chicago office's Managing Partner. He focuses his practice on representing individual partners and partner groups in the lateral marketplace as well as representing clients in connection with office openings and law firm mergers. His clients are complimentary of Ron's approach to his practice, his level of professionalism and his dedication to his clients' and candidates' long-term goals.

Ron lives in the Chicago suburb of South Barrington with his wife, Natasha, a named partner in a boutique law firm, and their three children.

Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Ron was a corporate partner in the Chicago office of Winston & Strawn. He specialized in structured finance transactions (including leveraged leasing, project finance and tax credit partnership transactions) and asset acquisitions and divestitures. While at W&S, Ron served as a member of the firm's Hiring Committee, Summer Committee and Corporate Opinion Committee.
