Alisha Asif is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in program development and communications within non-profit organizations focused on social welfare and education. Currently serving as a Program Development Fellow at the Northeast Centre for Equity Action on Integrated Development (NEAID), Alisha works on initiatives that align with sustainable development goals in tribal and rural areas of Northeastern India. Alisha also holds positions as a Board Member for Vanangana, a women's rights collective in Uttar Pradesh, and as a Communications & Outreach Consultant for The Circle India. Additional experience includes roles as a Communication Consultant for Make A Difference, a Creative Writing Facilitator and Outreach Lead at Swatantra Talim, and significant contributions to various organizations in behavioral change communication and youth engagement. Alisha's educational background includes a Master's in Social Work from the University of Lucknow and a Bachelor's in Journalism & Mass Communication from Amity University, complemented by specialized training from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
