Leslie Motter is the current Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Make-A-Wish. Prior to this, they spent 11 years at American Express in progressively responsible positions.

Her first role at American Express was as Vice President, Integrated Service Delivery Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for leading the turnaround of a major systems development project. This project had been over budget for 3 years, and Leslie was able to get it back on track.

From there, they moved into the role of Business Leader, Credit Operations. In this role, they led a team of 800 people who were responsible for servicing the credit needs of American Express customers. Leslie was able to reduce credit losses through strong partnerships and strategic thinking.

Finally, Leslie was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager of Phoenix Arizona. In this role, they were responsible for all Phoenix-based card operations supporting the company's Consumer Card, Merchant Services, Corporate Services and Small Business Services businesses. This operation included 3,300 employees and a budget of $235MM.

Leslie has a proven track record of success in various leadership roles. Leslie is a strategic thinker who is able to build strong partnerships and deliver results.

Leslie Motter has a BA in Communication Sciences from the University of Connecticut and a Masters in Organization Behavior from the University of Hartford.

Leslie Motter reports to Richard K. Davis, President & CEO. They are on a team with Maureen Musselman - Chief Financial Officer, Holly Thomas - Vice President of Corporate Alliances, and Frances Hall - Interim Vice President of Chapter Advancement.
