Nate Schmidt

Nate Schmidt serves as the Portfolio Success Director at High Alpha Innovation, a role commenced in December 2023, where the organization collaborates with leading corporations and entrepreneurs to create startups addressing significant challenges. Schmidt holds several board member positions at Fieldist, Make Hay, Oaken, Gripp, and previously at Noteworthy AI. As the founder of InstaGift, an eGift card and eTicketing company established in 2007, Schmidt participated in the Techstars Seattle class of 2010. Past professional experience includes leading as GM Americas East and Managing Director at Techstars, where contributions were made to the launch of the Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator, and consulting for Southern Company’s Cloverly startup. Nate Schmidt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Doctor of Law from the University of Kansas.
