Etienne Bégué

Etienne B. has extensive experience in the reinsurance industry, currently serving as the Head EMEA Life & Health at Gallagher Re since December 2018. Previously, Etienne held roles at Gallagher Re as Deputy Head EMEA Life and Health and Executive Director for Life EMEA Reinsurance Broker, specializing in structured and alternative solutions. Prior to Gallagher Re, Etienne worked at Guy Carpenter as Vice President, focusing on structured and alternative solutions, capital and strategic advisory, and various reinsurance transactions. Early career experiences include actuarial roles at FIXAGE, where Etienne conducted reserving risk studies and asset-liability management, along with internships at Winter & associés and jalma. Etienne holds a Master in Actuarial Science from the University of Strasbourg.
