Anna Jordan-Douglass, PhD

Anna Jordan-Douglass, PhD has held a variety of roles in the media and education industries. In 2015, they founded Makefully and began their PhD program in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a focus on Design, Informal, and Creative Education. From 2010-2015, they worked at The Jim Henson Company as Vice President of Digital Development & Interactive Media and Interactive Producer, overseeing all interactive media strategy, business and production, including mobile apps, games, and websites. In 2009, they worked as a Freelance Website Producer. From 2005-2009, they worked at KCET as a Website Producer, Editor, Manager, and Associate. In 2004, they worked at PR Newswire as an Editor, editing, proofreading, and formatting press releases for a newswire feed.

Anna Jordan-Douglass, PhD completed their Bachelor of Science in Advertising from Northwest Missouri State University in 2001. Anna then went on to earn their Master of Arts in Journalism from Emerson College in 2004. Finally, in 2019, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction (Design, Informal, and Creative Education) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
