Fiona Viani-Pericchi

Fiona Viani-Pericchi has over 5 years of experience in animation, illustration and storyboarding. Fiona began their career in 2015 as a Freelance Animator and Illustrator for Lord Ashcroft Business School, creating storyboards, designing assets and animating in TV Paint and After Effects. In 2016, they worked as a Freelance Animator and Storyboard Artist for BBC World Service, Clarkson & Woods Ltd., OUTCAST STUDIOS LIMITED, Jelly Penguin Productions Limited and Marimo Mag. During this time they directed, storyboarded, designed characters and backgrounds and animated in After Effects and TV Paint. In 2018, they worked as an Animator and Illustrator for Maia Films, creating concept art, storyboards and designing assets, animating in After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. Fiona also worked as a Freelance Animator for STUDIO AKA, where they created storyboards and animatics, keying and animating for series 3 of BAFTA winning ‘Hey Duggee’. In 2020, Fiona began working as an Animation Team Lead for Makematic, where they established visual style, supported animators/illustrators, ensured series consistency and quality control, in addition to developing visuals for scripts, thumbnail storyboards, designing characters and assets in Illustrator and Photoshop, and animating in After Effects for educational content.

Fiona Viani-Pericchi completed a Foundation degree in Art and Design: Visual Communication at the University for the Creative Arts in 2011-2012. Fiona then earned a Bachelor's degree in Illustration and Animation from Anglia Ruskin University between 2012-2015. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in Animation from the University of the West of England in 2015-2017.
