Bill McGrath

Bill McGrath currently serves as Managing Director and General Counsel at Makena Capital Management, a role held since September 2011. Prior experience includes key legal positions as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Vulcan, Inc. from 2007 to 2011, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Hands-On Mobile, Inc. from 2005 to 2007, and Director of Legal at NVIDIA Corp. from 2003 to 2005. Additional roles include Vice President and General Counsel at Vitria Technology from 2002 to 2003, and General Counsel at eGain Communications from 1999 to 2002. Bill McGrath holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Claremont McKenna College, and completed high school at St. Ignatius College Preparatory.
