Taletha Derrington

Founder at maketruthmatter

Taletha Derrington is the founder of maketruthmatter. Taletha has over two decades of experience in early childhood research and policy. Prior to starting their own company, they worked as a technical assistance specialist and researcher at SRI International, Brandeis University, and Boston University School of Public Health. Taletha has also served as a consultant for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and ZERO TO THREE. In addition to their work in the private sector, Taletha has been involved in academia as a doctoral fellow at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy and as a student principal investigator and research assistant at the Institute for Child and Family Policy. Taletha is also a former president of the Brandeis University Graduate Student Association.

Taletha Derrington has a PhD in Social Policy from Brandeis University, Heller - The Heller School for Social Policy and Management. Taletha also has a MA in Developmental Psychology from University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a BS in Biology from California Institute of Technology.
