Jani Puroranta

Jani Puroranta is an accomplished business leader currently serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at Maki.vc since February 2024, following a role as General Manager of Ecological Packaging at Colombier International B.V. from November 2020 to February 2024. With extensive experience in digital transformation and product strategy, Jani previously held positions such as Chief Digital Officer at Metso, Director of R&D and Product Strategy at Bilot, and Director of Analytics & Big Data at the same company. Additional leadership experience includes serving as CEO and Managing Director at Alekstra Corporation and Managing Director at Wulff Group Plc. Jani's early career includes roles with McKinsey & Company and OMX Exchanges, where responsibilities ranged from engagement management to senior vice president roles in business development. Jani holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Economics from Aalto University.
