Álvaro Verdeja has a comprehensive work experience starting in 2003 as a Sales Trainee at Mercedes-Benz España, followed by roles in marketing and controlling at URSA. Álvaro then moved on to co-found website optimizers and Uva y Bellota. Throughout their career, they held leadership positions such as COO at MAKE Marketing y Comunicación and Making Science, where they served as COO and later shifted to roles as Global Tech & Data Director, Executive Board Member, and Global Data & Cloud Director. Additionally, they have shared their knowledge and experience as a Mentor at Startupbootcamp and as an Associate Professor at IE School of Human Sciences and Technology. Álvaro also worked as a Google Marketing Platform Master Coordinator at the Digital Innovation Center.
Álvaro Verdeja obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Business Administration and Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in the years 2002-2006. Additional certifications include "Understanding Incrementality Experiments" from Skillshop in January 2024 and various certifications from Google and DoubleClick between 2017 and 2022.
