James Evans

James Evans has a diverse background in sales, engineering, and manufacturing. James has been working as a Territory Sales Manager for Makita U.S.A., Inc. since 2016. Prior to that, they held the same role at Cone Drive Operations, Inc. from 2014 to 2015, where they were responsible for business development and product training. From 2006 to 2014, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Barnes Group - Associated Spring Raymond, managing a six-state region and achieving significant revenue growth through competitive takeaways and project closures. Before that, they were an Account Manager at Photo Etch, where they increased territory sales from $600K to over $3M. James also has experience as a Tooling Technician at Poly America, a Designer Draftsman at Poly America, an Engineer at REMSYS Industries, and a Manufacturing Engineer at HAC Corporation and Aerospace Technologies. In their early career, they worked as a Production Machinist and Tool & Die Maker for several aerospace and oil industry companies.

James Evans attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1991 to 2000, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). From 2003 to 2006, they then pursued Professional Sales Training at Acuity Systems Inc.
