Joshua Whidden has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Starting in 2003, they worked as a P.G.A. Professional/Tourney Director at Virginia Country Club, where they coordinated tournaments for Fortune 500 companies and handled customer requests. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Team Lead at Acosta Sales & Marketing.

In 2012, Joshua began their career in video production, starting as an intern for Fox Soccer Channel's On Air Promotions. Joshua later became a Production Associate, assisting with writing, producing, editing, and graphic design. Joshua also worked as a Room Producer, ensuring quality control for on-air promotions and liaising between different departments at Fox Soccer Channel.

During the same period, Joshua also interned at LA Galaxy, where they were responsible for video production for the MLS team and academy teams. Joshua collaborated with coaches to gather footage for scouting and player development.

In 2016, they joined Fox Sports as a Senior Associate Producer, coordinating production staffing and working closely with V.P's. Joshua continued in this role until 2017 when they worked as an ENG Producer for the U.S. Open Championship. Joshua then returned to Fox Sports as a Media Manager for the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Games, overseeing IP Director and Near-line EVS Storage and managing the distribution of promotional materials.

From 2018 to 2021, Joshua worked at Tennis Channel as a Media Manager. Their responsibilities included managing the AVID Interplay environment and MASSTECH Archive, distributing content across digital platforms, and serving as an on-site digitizer for Roland Garros.

In 2022, Joshua joined NBC Sports as an Associate Producer for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Currently, they are the Driving Innovation Events Sales Manager at Makita U.S.A., Inc.

Joshua Whidden attended California State University-Dominguez Hills from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Digital Media Arts: Television Production. Prior to that, they attended Lafayette College from 1994 to 1996 and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Economics. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Design & Creative Writing Series from UCLA Extension in December 2013.
