Rod Gowett

Rod Gowett has a diverse background in various leadership roles within the construction supply industry. Rod served as the Vice President of Business Development & National Accounts at Makita U.S.A., Inc. from June 2020, and prior to that, they were the National Contractor Sales Manager at the same company from March 2019 to June 2020.

Before joining Makita, Gowett worked at Acme Construction Supply as the Senior Vice President from October 2014 to March 2018. Rod also served as a Board Member and was later the President at Specialty Tools & Fasteners Dist. Assn. (STAFDA) from December 2010 to November 2016.

Gowett has an extensive history at Bay Tool & Supply, where they held the position of President/CEO for over two decades, from February 1991 to October 2014. Additionally, they were a Board Member and eventually became the Chairman at Evergreen Marketing Group from April 2001 to May 2005.

Earlier in their career, Gowett served as the G.M. at California Service Tool - An ALCAL Industries Inc. Company from January 1987 to February 1991. With their broad range of experience in various leadership positions, Gowett brings valuable expertise in business development, sales management, and industry association leadership.

Rod Gowett attended the College of San Mateo from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained an AA degree in Business. Their field of study at the college was Criminal Justice/Police Science.
