David Kleiman

Chief Technology Officer at Mako Financial Technologies

David Kleiman has a long and varied work experience. David began their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant at McGill University. In 2014, they were a Research Intern at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, where they studied the fluid mechanics of dense suspensions of Möbius strips using dissipative particle dynamics simulations and the mechanics of twisted ribbons. In 2015, they worked as a Software Developer at Magnit.io. In 2016, they Co-Founded Wizrd. In 2017, they were a Full Stack Developer at Restoply. In 2018, they were a Client Side Engineer at Copper. Finally, in 2019, they assumed the roles of Chief Technology Officer and VP of Software Engineering at Mako Financial Technologies.

David Kleiman completed a DEC in Pure and Applied Science at Dawson College from 2010 to 2012. David then went on to McGill University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Honours Applied Mathematics from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they have completed a short course in computational rheology via LAMMPS through the Society of Rheology.
