Daisy Wang

Daisy Wang is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in managing and optimizing data pipelines and databases. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Mako Trading since April 2023, Daisy is responsible for ensuring the delivery of large datasets vital for trading analyses and establishing standards for data architecture. Prior to this role, Daisy worked at Liquid Capital Group in the same capacity, maintaining consistent responsibilities until the acquisition by Mako Trading. Between 2017 and 2021, Daisy held the position of Senior SQL DBA & Integration Developer at Veolia Australia and New Zealand, where key enterprise databases were maintained and optimized. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at UNSW Global Pty Limited, focusing on developing applications with various technologies. Daisy holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology from UNSW, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Henan Normal University, and an Engineer's Degree in Embedded Systems from Yeungnam University.
