Ricky Walia

Ricky Walia has an extensive work experience. Ricky recently held the position of Head of Prudential Risk and Product Control at Mako Trading since January 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Operations at Liquid Capital Group from September 2020 to January 2022. Ricky also worked as a Risk Business Manager at Virgin Money from February 2016 to September 2020. Before that, they served as the Head of Risk at London Capital Group from November 2013 to December 2015. Ricky started their career at Liquid Capital Group in 2006, initially as a Financial Accountant from October 2006 to December 2011. Ricky then transitioned into the role of Risk Analyst from October 2011 to October 2013. Before joining Liquid Capital Group, Ricky worked as an Accounts Payable Auditor at Audit Partnership Ltd from October 2004 to July 2006.

Ricky Walia completed their education at Leeds Beckett University from 2002 to 2006, earning a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies with a 1st Class Honours. In addition to their degree, Ricky has obtained several certifications. In 2008, they became ACCA Qualified through ACCA. Ricky later obtained the ACT Qualified certification from the Association of Corporate Treasurers in October 2012. In May 2019, Ricky earned a Certificate in Banking Asset and Liability Management (CertBALM) from the UK Asset and Liability Management Association Limited.
