Mako Trading
Shivesh Mandalia is a Financial Engineer at Mako Trading since May 2020, leveraging a strong background in high-energy physics. From September 2015 to December 2019, Shivesh was a Researcher at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center, contributing to the international IceCube collaboration focused on neutrinos and setting constraints on Quantum Gravity models through big data analysis. A Research Fellow at Fermilab from October 2018 to March 2019, Shivesh upgraded the GENIE neutrino MC simulation and transitioned a physics model from PYTHIA6 to PYTHIA8. Shivesh gained experience as a Research Intern at CERN in summer 2015, developing classification technology in C++ for identifying jets in particle collisions. Shivesh holds a PhD in High Energy Physics and an MSc in Physics, both from Queen Mary University of London.
