Chisomo Daka

Chisomo Daka is a visionary entrepreneur and academic in the field of technology and education. As the Founder, CEO, and CTO of Daka Space Technologies LTD since August 2022, Chisomo leads a Malawian startup that focuses on space technology research and the development of innovative solutions to enhance digital access and sustainable development across Africa. In addition, Chisomo serves as the Managing Director of Airwave Technologies Malawi since February 2017, providing high-quality ICT products and services while promoting technology adoption in rural areas. As a Lecturer in Physics at the Malawi University of Science and Technology since July 2016, Chisomo contributes to academia alongside a robust educational background that includes ongoing doctoral studies in Quantum Computation and Quantum Optics at the University of the Witwatersrand, a Master of Science in Physics from Lovely Professional University, and a Bachelor of Education Science from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College.
