Christian Calagui

Christian Calagui has extensive experience in market risk management and analytics, currently serving as a Market Risk Officer at Maybank since July 2025. Prior to this role, Christian held the position of Market Risk Analytics & Initiatives Officer at China Bank PH from June 2022 to June 2025, and worked as a Financial Regulatory & Risk Reporting Associate at Deutsche Bank for a brief period in early 2022. Christian's career in market risk began at First Metro Investment Corporation, where Christian served as Market Risk Officer from March 2019 to February 2022, and earlier at the Philippine Bank of Communications in various roles including Market Risk Officer, Fixed Income Trader, and Trading Order Processor between May 2009 and February 2019. Christian's professional journey began with an internship at the Development Bank of the Philippines in 2008. Educational qualifications include a Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lyceum of the Philippines University.
