Najib Nazlan

Najib Nazlan currently serves as the Executive Vice President for Maybank Group Corporate Treasury and holds the position of Strategic Programme Director for the Maybank M25+ Strategic Programme, a role started in December 2022. Previously, Najib was a member of the Board of Trustees for Yayasan Didik Negara from July 2021 to January 2023 and served as the Chief Executive Officer for Maybank Asset Management Group and Maybank Asset Management between July 2021 and December 2022 and April 2018 to March 2022, respectively. Najib also held the Chief Executive Officer role at Maybank Islamic Asset Management from October 2015 to April 2018 and the Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director & Senior Portfolio Manager positions at Amundi from October 2012 to October 2015. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Treasury at Bank Muamalat and Executive Director at Muamalat Invest Sdn Bhd from January 2009 to October 2012, as well as roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Citi. Najib obtained a Master of Business Administration in Islamic Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia and a BBA (Honors) in Finance from Universiti Teknologi MARA.
