Nguyen Thanh Tung

Nguyen Thanh Tung has extensive experience in finance and investment banking, currently serving as the Head of Finance Department at Maybank since August 2017, with responsibilities in Indochina Transformation. Prior to this role, Nguyen served as a Senior Associate in Investment Banking at Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation from March 2016 to May 2017, focusing on sell-side equity valuation and bonds issuance advisory. Nguyen held positions at Indovina Bank Ltd. as Deputy Head of Department, specializing in risk analysis, and as a Supervisor in both the Treasury and Credit Risk Management Departments. Earlier experience includes working as an Investment Analyst at Prudential Fund Management Co. in Vietnam, providing investment analysis and monitoring. Nguyen holds an MA in Investment & Finance from Nottingham University Business School and a BSc in Banking & Finance from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
