Syahril-Izmi Mohamed Hussein has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. SYAHRIL-IZMI started their career at Mega Corporate Services Sdn Bhd as an Account Executive, where they prepared financial statements and assisted clients with financial transactions. SYAHRIL-IZMI then joined Intria Berhad (now known as UEM Builders Berhad) as a Finance Executive, where they handled construction accounts and was involved in resolving operational issues. Syahril-Izmi then moved on to UEM Builders Berhad as a Senior Finance Executive, where they were responsible for consolidating group accounts and preparing budgets and business plans. SYAHRIL-IZMI was later selected for the Emerging Leadership Programme and was seconded to PLUS Expressway Berhad and Faber Group Berhad as a Senior Executive. After that, they joined UEM Builders Berhad as the Director and Chief Representative Officer for the Indonesia setup. SYAHRIL-IZMI also served as a Special Officer to Group MD/CEO at UEM Group Berhad, where they handled corporate exercises and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements. Prior to their current role, Syahril-Izmi worked as the Business Development Manager at UEM Builders Berhad, where they formulated business development strategies and initiatives to secure new projects. SYAHRIL-IZMI is currently the Head of Business Development under the Strategic Planning and Business Development Department at Malaysia Transformer Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, where they develop and monitors the execution of the company's strategic and business plans. SYAHRIL-IZMI is also involved in advising the head of department and managing director on strategic and operational matters, as well as developing strategies for overseas ventures.

SYAHRIL-IZMI attended Sekolah Dato' Abdul Razak in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained their Sijil Rendah Pelajaran (SRP) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).
From 1995 to 1996, they pursued their Foundation in Accounting at Kolej Yayasan Pelajaran MARA Trolak, Perak.
SYAHRIL-IZMI then attended Kolej Yayasan Pelajaran MARA Cheras in Kuala Lumpur, where they obtained their National Certificate of Education Award in Accounting from 1996 to 1997, and their National Diploma in Accounting from 1997 to 1998.
From 1998 to 2000, they attended Universiti Teknologi MARA in Shah Alam, Selangor, where they graduated with a Bachelor in Accounting (Hons.).
In 2003, Syahril-Izmi Mohamed Hussein obtained the certification of Chartered Accountant from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
