Joe Shamah is a Senior Digital Electronics Engineer at Malin Space Science Systems, specializing in the design and implementation of FPGA logic and embedded microprocessor software for space mission cameras since December 2016. With prior experience as an Embedded Security Engineer at OSR Enterprises AG, Joe conducted reverse engineering and vulnerability assessments on embedded systems. As a Principal Electrical Engineer at Ultra Electronics Group, leadership was demonstrated in the development of military sonar technology. Joe's career began in electronics engineering roles at L-3 Chesapeake Sciences Corporation, followed by research positions at NASA-New York State Space Consortium and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Joe holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Binghamton University, complemented by education at Israel Tech Challenge.
