Advanced Projects Manager And Vice-president at Malin Space Science Systems Inc

Michael Ravine has a diverse work experience in the fields of space science, film production, and technical consulting. Michael started their career in 1986 as a Co-Founder and Member of the Technical Staff at Altadena Instruments Corporation, where they worked on camera development for Mars missions. From 1995 to 1997, they served as Vice President and Project Manager at Presence Information Design. Michael then joined Malin Space Science Systems as an Advanced Projects Manager from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, they became the Chief Payload Officer at Blastoff, managing the development of a lunar landing mission payload. In 2001, they returned to Malin Space Science Systems as the Advanced Projects Manager and Vice-President. From 2001 to 2008, they also worked as an Executive Producer at PRAMA Corporation, where they contributed to the production of the film "NOBEL SON" and provided technical advice.

Michael Ravine earned their Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Caltech, graduating in 1982. Michael then pursued a Master's Degree in Geology at Brown University from 1982 to 1984. Following this, they attended UC San Diego, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geophysics, completing their studies in 1997.
